A grand adventure is about to begin. - - Winnie the Pooh

Last night I woke up several times during the night, uncomfortable from cramping... or did I?  I'm starting to wonder if it was a dream... or perhaps it wasn't "all night," only cramps during the course of an hour!  I just knew I'd wake up in a pool of fluid, haha.  I didn't.  Thank goodness... I'm still very patient for this sweet little rumbly in my tumbly!

It certainly is ANOTHER day!

Another day of wondering if this little one is at all anxious to make her entry into the world!

My husband has declared my due date to be incorrect - according to him I'm actually due on Sept. 4th, not Sept. 6th.  I mentioned it to my doctor with a laugh, considering it's only 2 days, but she said it's possible their wheels were outdated.  Regardless, it's all a big medical guess.  So, 9 days away, 11 days away... either is so unbelievably close!  My husband is having QUITE a time with not having control over any of this!  I do wonder and worry about the unknown, but I'm honestly content right now.  If she wants to be fashionably late, that's just fine with me!

I stopped working on Monday.  I finally knew it was time.  The past 2 days have been pretty good - my husband has been off work, too, so it's been nice.  I haven't been very productive, but I have taken it easy and rested.  A friend of mine reminded me that it's good to be lazy right now - that I won't have a chance to be once the baby is here.  So I don't feel so bad!

So, here I am... another day closer to my world changing... another day closer to meeting this incredible gift growing inside of me... another day closer to becoming what I've always dreamed of... a mom.

30 days to go... can that be possible?

I'm having trouble getting to sleep, as usual... thought I'd jump online for a bit.

I can't believe I'm this close to being a mother - even with this big belly in front of me and all those reminders from her that she's there - I just can't believe it!

I'm definitely overwhelmed... I was getting ready to downshift and leave work, but lately I'm realizing that keeping busy is probably the best thing for me.  I think I'll know when it's time to stop.

What else can I say - I'm in lala land!  I'm continuing to pray for this little one's health... I get more and more concerned about her every day.   I'm ready to meet her, but anxious about my life changing.  I know it's a wonderful change, but it's a huge one.  I know I can't be ready enough or prepare enough, but I hope I am...
